N-Product’s Cardboard Jewelry

The term “cardboard jewelry” may not inspire the image of elegance, class and chic, but as N-Product recently unveiled a unique line of jewelry items made from recycled shipping boxes, the term is one that is due for significant reassessment.

In line with the now-on-the-rise standards of going green and eco-sustainable with the design, development, production and release of fashion apparel and accessories, N-Product recently unveiled is new product line, which combines form and function with eco-initiatives at their very best.

Canadian designer Dominic Coballe, upon receiving shipping boxes in his office on a weekly basis, realized he could do more with them than just have them brought to recycling centers – he realized he could make durable jewelry pieces from them.

With his wife and N-Product partner Chrystale Ladouceur, Coballe then utilized laser-cutters in transforming used cardboard boxes into fashionable jewelry items. With each cardboard jewelry item made of several layers of paperboard and lacquered with a finish that affords it chemical, ultraviolet and water resistance, N-Product’s new line is quite a hit, bearing the established modern and classic look and feel often found in N-Product’s lines.

As a brand, N-Product’s items are made in Canada, driven by the passion to create functional and fashionable products that are gilded with elements of artistic aesthetics which endear through years.

Featuring t-shirts, notebooks, earrings, necklaces and “Deckster Timepieces”, N-Product’s new cardboard jewelry line stands out as an eco-friendly jewelry item as well as a pivotal sensibilities shifter that does away with the wasteful practices behind the making of jewelry and accessories items.

Cardboard jewelry may be made of cardboard, but as N-Products has proven with its cardboard jewelry line, it is actually more than just that.
